Our courses are designed for families to help support their children. It gives you, the parents and carers, the opportunity to find out how a variety of things are taught, including sharing ideas with other parents and developing your own skills. Havering Adult College, Family Learning is a way of learning and having fun in a safe, supportive and friendly environment. What do you need to do? Register and attend. Best of all, everything is FREE. That's right, you will not need to part with a penny!

These vary from one day workshops to 6 month blended learning programmes. You will need to contact Family Learning to check each course to find out the length.
Where are the courses?
Havering Adult College uses its own centres through the borough, partner schools, Children's centres, Country Parks as well as community venues.
Many of the courses delivered in partnership with local schools include a free trip.

Just for adults (19+), we can offer level 1 and 2 Football Coaching Certificate in partnership with Chelsea Football Club.
There is always a waiting list for this course as it is incredibly popular.
